Joseph M. Esposito
[T/A Esposito's Electric]
A Licensed Electrical Contractor and Licensed Inspector (ICS, HHS, and Sub-Code), Joe has nearly 40 years of experience in the field and has actively supported the industry by serving as Past President of the Morris County Electrical Contractors Association, Chairman of the NJIEC Apprenticeship Committee, and Past President of the New Jersey Electrical Contractors Association.
Among other key values he’s both lived by and instilled in his team, Joe has set a customer-first example since launching Esposito’s Electric in 1984. “We care about our customers and the end product we deliver to them and we are committed to ensuring that every customer is satisfied with the work we do,” says Joe, who adds that there’s no greater compliment than when a customer recommends the company to others.
Today, along with his executive duties at Esposito’s, Joe is proud to serve as an advisor and mentor to his employees and customers alike and is rewarded by the quality of the team he’s built and the company’s growth and success over three decades. “Our employees -- many of whom have been with us for over 20 years -- are extremely conscientious, hardworking, dedicated, and highly-trained individuals and I feel very fortunate for the success we’ve achieved together, which has made this roller coaster ride we call business all worth it!” he says.
A New Jersey Licensed Electrician with 25 years of field experience and extensive expertise in industrial, large service, and design/build work, Albert has been with Esposito’s since 1992 and is responsible for overseeing commercial and industrial projects involving everything from office buildings and warehouses to production/manufacturing facilities and data centers.
Possessing specialized training and experience in data centers, machine control wiring, AEMC ground resistance testing, and lighting and lighting controls, Albert is a graduate of the Illuminating Engineering Society’s (IES) design course along with being a U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) certified LEED Green Associate, an E-Mon sub-meter Certified Technician, and an Entry-Level NABCEP Solar Installer.
A native of Morris County, Albert believes that the key to Esposito’s success is its expertise across all facets of the electrical contracting industry. “From estimating and purchasing, to having the ability to perform everything from small lighting projects to high-voltage applications and site work within the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, we do it all,” he says.
A New Jersey Licensed Electrician with more than a quarter-century of electrical field experience, Craig specializes in commercial and industrial applications, control wiring, PLC systems, hazardous locations wiring, railroad applications, and high-voltage and pole installations. He’s also responsible for estimating, selling, procuring materials, and managing projects from start to finish. Additionally, he oversees the service, inspection, and repair of the company’s large fleet of vehicles and equipment.
A member of the Esposito’s team since 1991, Craig says he’s proud to be part of a company that “offers a one-stop shop from project start to finish, from low-voltage to high-voltage,” and also loves the variety and dynamism of his job. “Every day is different and we’re diversified in every aspect of the electrical field,” he says of Esposito’s unique strength in the industry.
A New Jersey Licensed Electrician with some 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, Craig has specialized expertise in lighting design, technical work, and generator and code updates and is a USGBC-certified LEED Green Associate, as well as an active liaison to the Denville Chamber of Commerce and Associated Builders and Contractors Organization (ABC). Craig is also on the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) New Jersey chapter educational committee and the Northeast Regional Director for the national IEC organization. On a daily basis, Craig is responsible for providing service, quotes, and design for new and existing commercial and industrial clients, as well as support for residential, commercial, and industrial generators.
Craig has been a proud member of the Esposito’s team since 1993. “I feel that our strengths include our responsiveness and availability 24/7/365,” he says. “Our team represents hundreds of years of combined experience in the field and we’re able to offer a very wide range of services, from adding an outlet for a computer to setting poles, running high-voltage wiring, and everything in between.” Among his favorite parts of the job, “I love the challenge of doing something different every day and the opportunity to learn new technologies that can benefit our customers,” Craig says.
An over 10-year veteran of both the electrical contracting industry and Esposito’s Electric with strong experience in the residential sector, Mike is a New Jersey Licensed Electrician with expertise in CAD-driven design and is also a certified technician for pool bonding and grounding, E-Mon sub-metering, and Generac generators.
Among his daily roles, Mike is responsible for sales and project management, overseeing generator installations for commercial and residential customers, and providing technical support to both customers and colleagues alike. Among his favorite aspects of the job, Mike says he enjoys “the excellent dynamic among our team members and our great customers.” As a proud member of the Esposito’s Electric family, he says, “I feel that our team’s outstanding professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness make us unique in the industry.”
Though she officially joined Esposito’s in a full-time capacity in 2010, Marissa has been involved in the family-owned business ever since she can remember – from sitting in her car seat on top of the dryer in her family’s laundry room, where her father made phone calls and worked on bids when he first launched the business, to working in the office through middle and high school doing data entry and other administrative tasks.
Today, Marissa manages an ever-changing array of office-related activities, customer communication and satisfaction initiatives, and marketing, promotional, and incentive programs, as well as employee events. Marissa is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Graphic and Interactive Design as well as a post-baccalaureate degree in Marketing from Ramapo College. She holds a Small Business Certificate from Ocean County College, is a member of the NJ chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and an active member of the Associated Builders and Contractors Organization of New Jersey (ABC-NJ), and is also on the Apprenticeship Board of the New Jersey Independent Electrical Contractor Association (NJ-IEC).
“Growing up with an entrepreneurial father has taught me how to work hard and be passionate about what I do,” shares Marissa, who adds that one of her favorite aspects of the job is the opportunity to work with both her father and her brother, Mike, as well as to interact with their 'extended family' of loyal and dedicated employees. “In an industry where businesses come and go overnight, we’re proud to be a family-owned and operated business with over 33 years under our belt,” she says.
