With summer just around the corner, here are some items to keep in mind to keep your home and family prepared and safe.

Here are some other things to keep in mind or prepare ahead of time:

• Emergency Kits with water, food (for you and for your pets), external chargers, flashlights, batteries, and cash
• Secure the outside of your home. Clean your gutters and drains, trim tree branches in danger of falling or breaking, bring in or secure small outdoor furniture.
• Stay indoors! During a storm, it’s safest to stay indoors, away from windows, and off corded electronics!
